A WALK TO REMEMBER by Nicholas Sparks book review

A Walk To Remember, written by Nicholas Sparks is a truly wonderful love story that will touch many reader’s heart just like it did to me. After watching the film version of the book, I just had to pick up the book and I could not put it down. This book has become one of my favourite books. This romance story had really touched everyone’s heart about the true nature of love.
It was 1958, and Landon had already dated a girl or two. He even swore that he had once been in love. Certainly the last person in town he thought he'd fall for was Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of the town's Baptist minister. A quiet girl who always carried a Bible with her schoolbooks, Jamie seemed content living in a world apart from the other teens. She took care of her widowed father, rescued hurt animals, and helped out at the local orphanage. No boy had ever asked her out. Landon would never have dreamed of it. Then a twist of fate made Jamie his partner for the homecoming dance, and Landon Carter's life would never be the same. Being with Jamie would show him the depths of the human heart and lead him to a decision so stunning it would send him irrevocably on the road to manhood.
Yet another great book by Sparks. If you want to cry, read this book. If you read this book and don't cry, go buy a heart! This is a close second to "The Notebook". An incredible love story like no other. Sparks brings you into the lives of Landon & Jamie and has you routing them on with every turn of the page. If you are a Nicolas Sparks fan, or are looking to become one, this is a great book to start with.I will recommend that everyone should pick up this book and trust me that you won’t regret it. Now I will end this phrase “Love is like the wind. You can't see it but you can feel it.”
